  1. Congrats! I'm so jealous. I've been wanting to start a blog for so long. I have [blog] post commitment phobia, though. I need to stock-up on a year's supply of content or something first. :-) And you're already at the segue to a big-girl blog!

At least I've been working on a blog name. Baby steps.

    1. Jeanne - don't be jealous! Actually, it will be a multi-purpose website/blog because I will be promoting my writing skills and also a suite of academic writing books my husband and his sister have published. But I also want to keep blogging - like this - because it gets those creative juices flowing.

I think you should just DO IT! Baby Steps might not be a bad name for a blog, either! But I think you were just referring to your cautious approach there.

What blog names have you been playing around with?

  3. Don't forget that "soul searching at Starbucks" has been a key part of your brand. I really enjoy what you have to say here.

    1. Thanks for the feedback, Harvey! I will take that into account. (Feedback - such a Unisys term. :) )

  4. Pam,
I'll be interested in seeing what your new site is like and what knowledge you glean along the way. I already noticed you've changed your writer's website, but haven't asked what has gone into such decision making. On my fall "to do" list is to see if I can pull together my own writing portfolio--or something of the like--on Wordpress. Or something. We'll see. Understand the technical part, but I'm also cheap and feel like I should get with it and learn some of the technical stuff. Time will tell, I guess.

    1. Yeah, the "new" writer's website will be replaced by my new site. It was in trying to build that that I realized I could use some help! And the new one will be powered by Word Press and combine all my online crap, er, stuff. You definitely need an online portfolio, Deb!
